Social Ansvarlighed (CSR)

Ud over at beskæftige sig med lønsom virksomhedsdrift har CeMat fokus på at opfylde og forbedre koncernens etiske, sociale og miljømæssige ansvar som erhvervsvirksomhed.

CeMat frasolgte sin hovedaktivitet i 2016, og som følge heraf er den tidligere underaktivitet blevet til koncernens hovedaktivitet. Fremadrettet er CeMat-koncernen en ren investerings- ejendomsforretning. Det betyder bl.a., at antallet af medarbejdere er stærkt reduceret, og miljøpåvirkningerne er ligeledes markant mindre end tidligere.

Set i lyset af selskabets størrelse og aktiviteter og de markeder, hvor koncernen opererer, har bestyrelsen besluttet ikke at fastlægge politikker for frivilligt indarbejdelse af samfundsansvar, herunder politikker for menneskerettigheder, klimapåvirkning og miljøforhold. Bestyrelsen vurderer jævnligt behovet for at vedtage politikker for dette område.
